The fiscal impact, in the form of potential revenue decrease, is indeterminable.
Source of potential revenue decrease:
Free lifetime fishing license for disabled veteran residents with a 50 percent or greater disability
Assumptions:
Based on information obtained from the Wyoming Veterans Affairs Commission, there are currently 2,818 Wyoming residents with a 50% or greater disability. The Game & Fish Department currently issues free fishing licenses to veterans with a 100% disability who are honorably discharged. There are currently 408 veteran fishing licenses issued, leaving an estimated population of 2,410 veterans who could qualify for a free lifetime fishing license under this legislation. The maximum decrease in revenue if all qualifying veterans received a free lifetime fishing license is $602,500. (2,410 x $250)
