Source of revenue increase:
Permit fees for disabled hunter companion permits
Assumptions:
Slightly less than 1,500 permits are currently issued to disabled hunters. About 10 percent of those individuals receive multiple permits allowing for both crossbow assistance and hunting from a vehicle.
Assume Game & Fish Commission would set the fee at the $5 amount.
Assume that approximately 50 percent of those currently receiving disabled hunter permits would also have a companion apply for a permit.
