Anticipated Expenditure Increase:

Source of expenditure increase:

 

Increase in commissioner salaries and meeting attendance.

 

Assumptions:

 

This bill increases commissioner salaries from $20 per day ($1,200 per year maximum) to $75 per day ($4,000 per year maximum).

 

This bill also allows payment to commissioners for other meetings (in addition to commission meetings) related to Game & Fish Commission business.

 

It is anticipated the commissioners will attend meetings involving a total of approximately 250 days.

 

In fiscal year 2002, expenditures for commission meeting attendance was $2,250.
