This bill authorizes school boards to increase property tax mill levies by up to 2 mills for local enhancements to school buildings and facilities. The additional revenue that can be raised by a school district with this mill levy increase is capped at $300,000.

The attached table shows the maximum revenue that could be assessed by school districts, based on January 2003 CREG projections.
