The non-administrative fiscal impact, in the form of additional expenditures, is indeterminable.
$3000/year (length of project plus two years
after project completion) to pay costs of the project managers oversight of the
warranty on behalf of the state’s interest in the given project. The probable cost would be $3000 times
“X”. “X” would be the length of project
plus two years.
For contract bidding, we
estimate that the bid would increase by .5% to 1% of total project cost. This would cover the bidder’s bid for
warranty guarantee. Depending on the
project’s complexity, it could be as high as 2%.
