FISCAL NOTE (HB0094)

 

The fiscal impact is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.  The legislation states that the Commission shall establish reasonable fees for permits to ensure that the costs of administering the legislation are recovered through the permit fees.  This legislation allows pull-tabs at licensed pari-mutuel facilities.  Employees and owners of these facilities have undergone background checks.  Additional background checks may be performed on vendors or suppliers with all associated costs recoverable.  The Pari-Mutuel Commission anticipates no more than 10 additional background checks associated with this legislation. 

 

The fiscal impact to the judicial system is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.

 

This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase (or decrease) duties or responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or staffing requirements.  As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency budget or current personnel authorizations.  The following state agencies may be affected administratively:
