Assumptions:

 

1.  Revenue projections are based on the following assumptions:

¨      Initial fee would be $25.

¨      All nonresident unsuccessful applicants applying for special deer, antelope would choose to pay the $25 fee to receive a preference point.

¨      25 percent of the unsuccessful nonresident applicants applying for a regular license would opt for preference points.

¨      There would be an overall 20 percent increase in applications for preference points only.

 

2.  It is anticipated the preference point system would not be in place until calendar year 2005.
