Assumptions:

 

¨      Premiums include Health coverage with the $350 deductible, Life, and Preventive Dental coverage (Optional Dental not included).

¨      The above estimates include executive branch, LSO, judicial, University of Wyoming, and community college employees.

¨      General Fund level for executive branch employees is 53 percent. General Fund level for University of Wyoming employees is 75 percent. General Fund level for LSO, Judicial and community college employees is 100 percent.

¨      15.9 percent trend factor used for first renewal period, 11.9 percent trend factor used for subsequent periods.

¨      3 percent increase in overall contracts.

¨      7 percent of Single contracts move to Adult plus dependant contracts.

¨      7 percent of Single contracts move to Family contracts.

¨      5 percent of Adult plus dependant contracts move to Family contracts.

 

Note: The above estimates represent the fiscal impact of this bill compared to the current state insurance contribution of $352 per month. The above estimates do not take into account the additional funding for the state insurance contribution recommended in the governor’s supplemental budget request.
