Source of revenue increase:

 

Increase in hunting license fees.

 

Assumptions:

 

1. Assume that the same percentage of nonresidents will apply for hunting licenses at the higher rate.

 

2. Estimated revenue increases reflect the maximum that could be received. Revenue increases could be less if the fee increase results in less demand.

 

3. Estimated revenue increase shown for FY 2004 reflects additional revenue from nonresident elk draw only. Increased revenues from nonresident deer and nonresident antelope draws will not be realized until FY 2005.
