Source of revenue increase:
Increase in license revenues.
Assumptions:
The Game & Fish Commission would see an increase in revenues because the Commission would now receive the full amount of the license fee rather than have the selling agent commission subtracted from the license fee and retained by the agent.
The estimated increase in revenue is based on the amount paid in commissions in calendar year 2001.
This bill is effective January 1, 2004. The estimated revenue increase for FY 2004 reflects the additional revenue expected to be received from the bill’s effective date through June 2004.
