AN ACT relating
to the capitol building and the supreme court building; providing
appropriations for certain repairs to the buildings as specified; and providing

any other provision of law, not to exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000.00)

legislature appropriated funds for capital construction projects and authorized
that those projects could be financed under W.S. 9-4-605 through the issuance
of revenue bonds. Interest has
accumulated in excess of the amounts necessary to fund the projects in an
amount of one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000.00). There is appropriated from this excess
interest one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000.00) from this
account for the purposes of this act;
(vi) One hundred fifty thousand dollars
($150,000.00) from the public buildings at the capitol permanent land fund
created under W.S. 9-4-310(a)(ii).
(b) The following shall apply to subsection (a)
of this section:
(i) 1996
Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 1, Section 305(c) is repealed;
(ii) 1986
Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 81, Section 4 is repealed.
(iii) W.S. 1‑42‑104(a) is repealed;
(iv) Of
the funds de-appropriated under this subsection, eight hundred thousand dollars
($800,000.00) is appropriated for the purposes of this act.". MOCKLER

(a) The state building commission shall conduct
a study on the feasibility of restoring the skylights in the house chamber,
senate chamber and the capitol rotunda in the capitol building so that the roof
of the capitol will allow natural light to filter through the skylights. The commission may contract with appropriate
expertise and professionals as necessary to perform the study. The commission shall report its findings to
the management council and the select committee on legislative facilities on or
before November 1, 2003.
(b) There is appropriated ten thousand dollars
($10,000.00), or as much thereof as is necessary, from the budget reserve
account to the state building commission to implement the purposes of this
