AN ACT
relating to veterans; providing for the recording of certificates of discharge
or releases from military services with the county clerk; providing for
confidentiality; providing for access by specific persons; providing for
confidentiality upon request for previously recorded certificates of discharge
or releases; and providing for an effective date.

(e) Ten
(10) years after the death of the veteran, or, if the date of death of the
veteran is unknown, one hundred (100) years from the time of discharge or
release from active service, the county clerk may transfer the documents filed
